Interesting Facts about Mac Cosmetics

from:

In Toronto, Canada in 1985, Frank Angelo, owner of a number of hair salons and Frank Toskan, a photographer and makeup artist founded a company called Make-up Art Cosmetics or MAC. Internationally famous through celebrities, models, and professional makeup artist’s oral endorsements, Mac cosmetics became synonymous with beauty and glamour, due in part to the celebrity endorsements, ever-increasing fashion industry presence, universal diversity, and cruelty free products. Both Angelo and Toskan understood the need for reliable cosmetics in fashion photography, where conventional makeup either did not hold up or photographed badly under the intense lighting and created conditions. The Mac cosmetics line created by Toskan and Angelo proved it could withstand these challenges. The Mac cosmetics company’s motto later became ‘All ages, all races, all sexes’. It is obvious they endeavored to live up to their motto, especially when you see the assortment of celebrities that endorced Mac makeup over the years, such as Raquel Welch, Diana Ross, Liza Minnelli, and Catherine Deneuve. Mac cosmetics donates all of the money from Viva Glam products sales, which are available in two glosses and six colors of lipstick, to help children, women, and men with HIV and AIDS. In 1994, the Estee Lauder Companies acquired controlling interest and in 1998, finished their acquisition of Mac cosmetics.

There is a large range of Mac cosmetics such as skincare, hair care, and makeup, which can transform an average looking woman into a glamorous, stunning beauty in a very short length of time. You can have healthy looking, shiny hair, lovely skin, and a glowing, radiant complexion because, along with makeup, Mac cosmetics now have new Mac skin care products, which they used on a group of female volunteers, aged forty to their mid sixties. After using these products, the women showed marked improvements in skin firmness, smoothness, hydration, skin softness, and wrinkle reduction.

Mac cosmetics are excellent products created by people that knew what they needed and were looking for in excellent makeup. In face makeup, the colors are intense, beautiful and always go on locking great. When it comes to your lips, Mac cosmetics carry a complete line of lip care products such as lipstick, lip pencils, lip bags, lip-gloss, and lip primer. To improve the appearance of your lipstick or other lip products and reduce feathering, always wear a moisturizing base or primer under your lipstick. Mac cosmetics have a collection of non-sticky, lightweight, everyday conditioning balms that moisturize, soothe, soften, and protect your lips, which you can wear alone or under lip color.
